OT: BirdDog Associates

Yes, yes I know its off topic but no one responded in any other thread.
I have an item on the Credit Card I use for deals it reads as follows:


$44 BirdDog Associates New York, NY


I checked every product I have ordered and recieved and this is the only item on my bill that is paid for but I do not know what it is. I have a sneaking suspision that it is one of those magazine deals. If so, it may be legit. If anyone else knows about this company or has been billed by them before please let me know. It may also be a third party billing service, but no telephone number is listed. I attempted to look them up and found nothing useful.

Fer cryin out loud, just ask your credit card company. They can tell you over the phone what kind of business it is, and a contact phone I think. if you dispute it they'll get the details from the merchant.

They won't unless I want to dispute, which I don't until I find out what it is.

If you can't find out what it is then you don't really have a choice besides paying it or disputing it.

BirdDog Associates sounds like a fake company.
