OT - Best Mod ever?

No, I'm not talking about Moderators....😉😛

I'm talking about a "Mod" invented/created by one of our own....someone who is celebrating his 1yr SETI anniversary today....and who is the person who introduced me to the "DC World"😀.

That person is.....None other than basilisk420! 😀

Oh and I suppose you want to see the "Mod" now huh?🙂

15 seconds of "fame"

Joe Citarella from OverClockers said "one of the most interesting TEC applications I have seen yet." - now if that doesn't score "geek points" I don't know what does😛

Hey, I could use one of those! I hate warm beer or pop! 😀

Couldn't you just see going to a LAN party, and setting up that beverage cooler! LOL! 😀

Thanks for sharing, CKG! 😀

I wonder if i can rig something up before the weekend at The_One's place 😉

Confused

What the hell is he doing, sippin his beer? Drink the damn thing before it gets cold! Just pop and tip! LOL

They have now posted this on their home page http://www.overclockers.com/ 😀

Dasm - The pics even made the front page of {H}ardOCP too!:Q😛

Oh and MoFunk - I think he and I discussed that at one point and I think we decided that it would actually be for the beer that is "on deck"😉😛 that way you make half as many trips to the refridgerator.😀

Life is all about comfort level. If your ergonomics are not perfect for your situation, think of a solution and get off your ass to fix it. The faster you can improve your surroundings, the faster you can resume afore-mentioned ass-sitting.

This does explain how a great product can be both "cool" and "hot" at the same time! 😉 😀

as a resident home brewer and die hard beer snob...I will say....what the hell are you drinking budweiser for. But sweet idea all the same

Life is too short to drink crappy beer!!!

I have to agree to a point. I don't know where you are from or what your genes' predisposition are , but I come from a long line of beer drinkers. Sure, I'd love to drink Newcastle all the time (my beer choice), but my 'habit' would cost me over $200/week if I didn't choose to drink something more cost-effective. I have brewed my own beer and the cost vs. my lazy-ass says that Bud has a nice balance of time invested vs. quality of beer.

And hey, Evadman, while I don't complete disagree, Old Mill has won plenty of awards for being a great domestic lager. I don't drink it much, but...😛

As an avid drinker of beer myself, I had to throw my 2 cents in about Budweiser.

I don't care for it, never have never will. While it is cost effective, I have found that you can do quite well with any local microbrew that you might have in your hometown. Their cases might cost a little extra but the taste is much more enjoyable.

On a similar note, while not exactly a microbrew, a case of Yeungling Lager (those of you from PA and the surrounding areas know what I'm talking about) beats Bud on any day of the week and is usually priced about the same as Bud. If you can find a case of Yeungling at your beer seller of choice, give it a try!

It's too early for beer drinkin', but not for beer thinkin!

too early for beer drinkin?!?!😕

Beer, so much more than just a breakfast drink. ( I am sure that is a trademarked saying as it is on tshirts and posters everywhere)

But my homebrew is on tap in my garage and it is a struggle to walk past it every morning as I walk to my car 😉

And I definately agree with Evilwobbles, local Microbrew is the beer to drink if you don't make your own.

LOL 😀 That is true, but in my drinkin days I just set up the ol ice cooler (you know those cheap arse styrofoam white ones with the blue speckles that you could get for like a $1.25) with my beer of choice at the time.......Lucky Lager!!! know I know what you home brew and micro brew dudes are going to say but just remember, this was my HEAVY drinking days and it was all about quantity over quality!
