Ok I must admit it. Becoming a subscriber for $30 a year is well worth it. There is indeed a light and day difference in the speed.

I just wanted to say great job guys, and keep it up!

It is most definitely a good deal, it would be a good deal at double the cost.

Anyone gone back to the public forum server after using this subscription cluster? You gotta wonder what they are running forums.anandtech.com with. Whatever it is, it seems to be a doing a good job of getting people to subscribe :) Nice tactic!

I've certainly started visiting a lot more ever since I became a subscriber :) And yes, there's no way I could go back! If I didn't renew my subscription, I would stop visiting AT!

Yep . . .

. . . for one day.

:)

I can see not-subscribing only if you are a 'casual' visitor or only visit in off-peak hours.

Yeah worth every penny, but I foolishly signed up for 3 months cause I wasn't totally convinced...so now I will have to renew it soon and get the full year.

I'll be renewing when my current subsription expires exactly 1 year after they began offering it, 11/1/02.
