Here's an idea, how about we let the MODERATORS do their job and not question them so damn much? They're aware of those threads, if they choose not to lock them or move them, that's their decision. Who does it hurt?

OP, 90% of all OT threads could be categorized as P&N...
News about people's lovelifes (aka YAGT) are just that: news.
They don't belong in P&N though.

P&N is more for those types of news that are likely to cause some form of debate.
"Famous actor died" - fine for OT
"Someone shot my dog, it's in the newspaper now" - fine for OT.

I'll defer to the mods to make those decisions though. I agree that some are definitely borderline decisions though. Nonetheless, why does it matter??

I haven't read the thread, but I'm not sure why people would bash Bush simply because Osama asked for a truce and said they're planning more attacks. We know they're planning more attacks, their entire existence is based on that.

The topic alone will draw it straight into a political discussion with left and right beating each other up.

I don't mind some news topics in OT either, especialy things like the google thread.
