OT: Abit KR7A-RAID and Corsair XMS PC2400.... its a no go.... please help

Well... heres the scoop... i can run the ram tweaked right out... and it'll run fine at 100mhz... but no matter the settings, if i turn the ram to 133 the system becomes extremely unstable... even if i un-tweak everything, any ideas?

Sounds like you have bad ram. That is all I can think of. That is 1 256 meg chip right? Do you have another Mem chip to test with?

no... i have no other DDR..... i will be setting up a DDR system soon.... so i'll test it with that chip.... and yeah... its one chip of 256... tried it in all the slots.... still a no go.... i'm stumped as well...

Have you tried bumping up the DDR voltage?

Yeah... i've tried every Voltage setting for each slot... it still does the same thing

up..... PLEASE help me....... i'll be swapping psu's and trying some other ram tonight.... to see if one is faulty.... i'll keep everyon informed

Installed the ram in a system tonight... and well.. we think the ram is faulty.... it ran better in the other system... but still crashed.... finally... we have a problem solved
