OT: a wave to all the Floridian DCers

I'll be on vacation for a week in Fort Lauderdale. How many of you are around there?

The drive down starts tonight so I'm also waving to all those along the path from Kitchener, Ontario to FL.

I will probably be without an internet connection for the whole time (oh the horrors :shocked: ) but I'm leaving the crunchers running. Here's hoping nothing happens 😕 🙂

I'm in FL but on the opposite coast. Enjoy Ft. Lauderdale. Don't get lost in that Sawgrass Mall. You know it's big when the parking lot as codes like Disney! :Q

Actually, we just might, thanks for the suggestion 😛 There's some xmas shopping to be done still. I can imagine the hell that will be on the 24th though 🙁

Christmas shopping is not that bad here in florida ... all us locals do christmas shopping in January to avoid the rush ... Or was that we forgot to do it and we are catching up on the sales to save our retirement money by giving things that are on sale....

Hi all,
I managed to get on a 'business' computer here at the hotel. Couldn't go much longer without seeing what's going on with seti 😛

So far I'm enjoying the trip very much, the weather is great, if a little more humid than I'm used to.

Robor is down there in Florida; I'd hoped to visit him myself the last time I was down for a vacation, but the timing didn't work out. 🙁 But there's always next time. 😉
