OSX-like file nav for Vista?

I posted in Software for Windows looking for a solution, bumped once, got nothing. I'm hoping there's a dual-platform person here who might have some insight. Here's the OP:

Is there a small-footprint, Vista explorer enhancement/standalone that closely mirrors OSX's folder views?

Specifically, I'm after the view that lets you show the full file tree in a single folder - twirling open folders automatically with option-click. The important thing is that it'd show both files and folders within the same window.

Like this.

I don't have Vista installed right now, but I know that in XP if you open My Computer, change to "List View", and then resize the window down to a size as small as that screen shot, it looks almost identical.

It's close, but not what I'm after. In Vista/XP, list view shows you everything (files/folders) at that level in the structure. OSX allows showing that AND the contents of folders at that level and below in the structure. Using Windows' standard file explorer allows navigation of the whole directory structure like I'm after but still only shows files from a single folder. I want to view files from multiple adjacent folders in a single window.

The difference is subtle, but important for the groups of files I'm working on.

Edit: to explain that screenshot for OSX folks, the files/folders on the right are the contents of the folder highlighted on the left.

That looks to (possibly) be what I'm after, but he mentions his vista build may be buggy. I'd be perfectly comfortable paying for what I need, it just needs to function and be stable.

It also seems focused on the look of OSX, which isn't my focus. I'm really, really after the twirl-able folders from OSX. Other stuff is fine, but that's my focus.

Oh.. I see now. You also want the ability to drop down through the list without clicking through. Makes sense...

Right - more or less, I want to see and manipulate the contents of several levels of the directory tree within a single window, and OSX happens to have a super-simple but perfectly functional solution for that.
