OSX and XP benchmarking software

I would like to benchmark a PC I built and compare it to a Macbook Pro, what software can I use that is both OSX and XP compatible?

You could use something like handbrake to compare encoding times.

You could use steam to compare frame rates in portal.

In the end you have to ask yourself it the OS is the limiting factor of the company writing the tool. A bad port is a bad port.

Thanks, and good point. So there isn't any reliable benchmark software I could use?
