haha..

L desk + manager chair + computer + anandtech = fat @ass and broken wallet...

:D

100-150 lbs ? what kind of wood is that, are those particle board ?

I still have 3 desks from the last deal where they were $15. I picked up about 40 of them from 2 OD's and was giving them away as a perk to the people who bought a computer from me.

geez, do they deliver to your home or u pick up..
either way, your back hurt, don't u ?

Officemax does have some good deals on desks from time-to-time. They just had the Back-to-School sale in my area a couple of weeks ago and I picked up the Bush Contours Corner Desk and Hutch for $119 shipped --> Link

This desk is solid. I tested all the desks in OM by putting my weight on the desks and this was one of the few desks that was solid and didn't cost lots of $. I know OM runs several different promotions in different parts of the country, so this offer might still be valid somewhere.

$199 - $50 instant - $30/150 coupon = $119 + tax shipped.

Definately have a friend available to help you haul this desk in. I wasn't home and my roommate and gf had to enlist the help of the neighbor's kid to drag this into the house. :p

is it just the desk and the hutch, or do you have to pay extra for the hutch?

Just ordered 2 of these to make the U shape. Ordered one with the 15% off $50 and the second using the $20 off $75 coupon.

I found a better pic and specs at the O'Sullivan site, not shown with that hutch part so I'm guessing it doesnt come with it:

Not letting me link directly to product, here's their main site:

http://www.osullivan.com/html/products.html

Click on O'Sullivan brand, then office products. Its on about the 10th page or so.

It weights 142 lbs! God bless free delivery!

i think ya'll have mistaken this desk for this one, which is the picture from office depot. the first one is bigger than the one at office depot. the one at office depot looks like this on the Osullivan website.

Yep suphu, you're right about this mixup between the two desks. If you look at the Office Depot site, they give the manufacturer's(O'Sullivan) model number on the sku page(# 11103). That first desk(model #10814) without a hutch is 73" long on each L while the actual desk at Office Depot is only about 48" long on each L. The rest of the dimensions of the desk you can get for $59.99 @ Office Depot are 28" high at the desktop level and the hutch adds another 16" for a total of 44". Total weight is 91.5 lbs. FWIW, the smaller desk is what I needed anyway and I got the last one out of my local Office Depot today.
