Are we talking about Oregon State University here?

no, Ohio State... and apparently we arent talking about riots, either, since all of the people who live in Columbus have been posting "what riots?"

The police should have the authority to shoot to kill when rioting is happening. Sort out the dead bodies later.
Nice philiospohy and all, but shooting passed out people in the head = not cool
That happened within the last two years or so. The Columbus police fired a rubber bullet right into the head of a passed-out-drunk girl (no one near her doing any rioting), and blinded her in both eyes. Which was a 40 million dollar mistake.
Public intoxication. Still not innocent. Screw her 😛
She was sitting on a chair on a second floor deck. Private property.
Wow, so they just went around shooting anyone in sight. That's pretty screwed up them
*retracts earlier post*
Yeah, so if she was on public property she deserved to be shot?
Fvcking moron!:|
What you forgot to mention, was that there were student on the same balcony, throwing beer bottles at the police. Yes she was still innocent, but it's not like the police were shooting at her aimlessly.

I'm referring to the 'screw her' comment. Is being shot in the head acceptable punishment for public intoxication nowadays?

Associated Press
PINSON, Ala. -- A Pinson man was charged with attempted murder for holding a gun to his son's head and pulling the trigger in the midst of a tantrum after Alabama's double overtime loss to Arkansas Saturday.

The bullet narrowly missed 20-year-old Seth Logan, who said he picked the wrong time to ask his dad for a car, sheriff's spokesman Deputy Randy Christian said Monday.

There were absolutely no riots or even anything close to riots of any kind last night.

In which case I repeat my statement about editting the title of this thread.

just a lot of sad people, a lot of fvck wisconsin's and a lot of fvck michigan's.

I think "fsck m!ch!gan" is almost more of an official cheer than "O-H" "I-O", at least in the student housing areas off campus.

I'd say it's about equal.

well, I can tell you for certain that on W. Maynard last year "fsck m!ch!gan" dominated, and Maynard is a little bit less student and more permanent (relatively) residents, than, say Chitt or Norwhich.
