I was just saying this the other day to my wife - investing heavily in alternative energy, saving the U.S. auto industry, saving big banks (which I don't really agree with), allowing the middle east to revolt on their own while giving support in Libya but not marching in and taking over, and finishing up the mess in Afghanistan and hopefully Iraq soon. He's laying the groundwork for historical change. Glad I didn't waste a vote and look forward to doing that again.
 
Still waiting to hear confirmation it was a CIA operative and not a drone, if he was taken out by a gun that would be pretty epic 😀

???? Yes, he has no say in having the CIA and the military intensify their hunt for Bin Laden, having him captured alive or assassinated.

Bush only started a war with Iraq and invaded Afghanistan to go after Al Qaeda and Bin Laden.

honestly, it can only help. This kind of bullshit has been well-known in the intelligence community, and we've been shitting on it trying to play nice with Pakistan ignoring what we well know to be their intentions.

Now, they can't really hide behind the generals that collude freely with Al Qaeda.

Some major shit is going to be hitting the fan in the next couple of months.

CNN was saying they received confirmation from someone (a "senior official" of some sort iirc?) that it was a ground operation.

EDIT: Pakistan has confirmed Bin Laden is dead. Apparently Pakistani Intel was in on the mission.
