OS Won't Stay Stable... *ordered new RAM*

'K... well, final count on the memtester before I turned it off...

33,217,255 errors.

Ordered some stuff from Newegg yesterday, hopefully it should be here by Friday... be all fixed up by the end of the weekend. Yay.

Just curious.......where did you get your original mem (the one thats garbage 8). And how old is it?

Lynn Computer Products Online. I think it was Crucial, not sure. I'll check when my other memory comes...

i had the same problem! win2k or win98 wouldn't install. thing is...i had a stick of crucial, and it just crapped out on me :(. i ran the test and i had a freakin' lot of errors. i really hope it's the ram. damn, i have to toss my stick of 256 and get 128 cuz i'm so poor :(.
