Have a computer with a 300 gig HD partitioned for Win7 64bit, and XP 32bit, and a 74 gig storage/backup.
A while back my XP got infected with some sort of virus/trojan that none of my software, or any others
could deal with. I figured fine, I'll just do a repair, or reinstall, however it seems my latest XP, SP2
install disk is damaged, (crc), and parts of the i386 files cannot be accessed/loaded. I attempted to load
the file to the back-up drive, and again a CRC. As an aside, would Micro$oft replace a damaged install CD?
Or allow a burnable download? Borrowing a neighbors, or friends is not an option. I do have an old XP
install disk, any way to incorparate the two? I.E. the service packs, ETC?
