At home I use primarily gentoo linux, but I also have a Win2K partition and an iMac running OSX. At work I have a laptop running XP Pro (I had to turn off the Fisher-Price GUI, because it made me want to vomit), and work with a product that runs a version of FreeBSD as its OS. How's that?
I'm still on win2k. I'm not paying for XP and can't be bothered to track down a free copy. I might even have one, so I can't be bothered to install it I guess.
I'm Win2k. Ran XP for a while, and it felt slower, crashed more, and required the stupid registration crapola. Sold my 2 copies and reinstalled 2k. One crash on my son's machine playing a game. That's it. In 2 years. In the 3 weeks I ran XP both machines crashed regularly... every couple days.
Until there is some reason I can't do what I want to do with 2k, XP can hang.
