I'm sure there are some of you that can benefit from it, and I agree that it can be useful in certain situations, but making the whole User Folder Library-based is a bit much. It's nice that I have a Libarary in the first level of folders, but what about in the 2nd level of folders. You are only allowed to create Libararies in one location and it bugs me that I can't figure out a system that works for me, but they expect me to user theirs.
One thing that I dislike most about all versions of Windows is how you can't customize it. MS forces you to use whatever they feel like, such as Libraries. All they had to do is put a bunch of videos on the desktop on how to use the new features. I learn by example, but they don't... I'm talking ahead of myself. This is a beta. In Vista, they tried to force me to use those premade folders. I don't like those. For instance, I don't download things into a download folder, I download it to the desktop so that it can be taken care of. Whatever.
In the navigation pane in windows Vista, I used to be able to put shortcuts there, but no longer. Libraries has taken over and links are no longer possible.
By the way, I noticed Firefox 3, made to look good with Vista, didn't look very Windows 7, with its flatter look, so I went searching and found a nice skin that I think matches it. It's called Chromifox 1.0. Check it out - its damn sexy.
