All the OEM XPs on ebay com with some hardware to fullfill the agreement. What agreement? Is it the hardware it came with? Does it need to be to be legal? What is COA? Is it legal? What are your veiws?
What agreement?
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or bundled software, is software that is obtained as part of the purchase of a new computer. OEM software licenses usually prohibit the purchaser from reselling the software without the computer or, in some cases, without any computer hardware.
Not usually..Is it the hardware it came with?
Yes, But doesn't allways end up being.Does it need to be to be legal?
Certificate Of Authenticity. The license MS provides you to use their software. What is COA?
I personally don't mind getting OEM software(allthough I won't get it from eBay) as I am usually getting internal hardware anyway and it saves a ton over retail box price. Only neg for some people will be that OEM software gets none, zero, zip, zilch, support from Microsoft. I don't need thier tech support, just good price. What are your veiws?
