Is an OS better than other OS's in terms of internet speed?
I was told Win2KPro is the best.
Is that right?
Which OS is best for improving the internet speed?

if you have a dialup, you will DEFINITLY not see any difference.

for me however, since i have a dual system, i browse the net slightly faster than my 98 partition, but thats because i can load the pages faster.

p.s. i have cable
 
I would think that it depends on how bogged down your system is... and your network settings (MTU, wehatever and such). I get those inf/reg updates from cable & dsl websites and run those usually.
