OS installation on SSD + HDD

Hello,

Quite new to the SSD scene, but from what I've read they're VERY fast and I'm looking forward to putting one in a friend's system build along with a HDD.

For the OS installation, I can just simply install the OS (Windows 7 Home) just on the SSD? I'm quite confused. It's a Intel 520 240 GB + Seagate Barracuda 1TB combo I'm planing on getting for him. (And I won't forget to enable ACHI in BIOS)
