I downloaded and installed the XP32 "noir" theme and it was pretty nifty. However, after a restart it looks like it can't load it correctly again. It just leaves me at a black screen after windows loads.


Is there a way to reset the windows theme from prompt? Safe mode doesn't seem to be working.
 
Last I knew, Microsoft did not have an actual download location for Noir. Where did you get it from? It could have been tainted if you got it off of p2p or some other questionable place.
 
If you can't get into Safe Mode, you are probably stuck doing a repair re-install from the install disc. I would take that hard drive out and scan it for viruses from another computer first though (or use Knoppix LiveCD, I think it comes with a virus scanner).
 
thanks just downloaded the theme =] hopefully it doesnt screw up my install.
