OS 10.2.x and it's Mail program

How do I set up Mail to empty the Trash automatically ? I have to delete each email individually right now !! I use the Mail program that comes with Jaguar.

Click on Mail > Preferences > Accounts. Select the account and click Edit > Special Mailboxes. You will see the trash options at the bottom of the sheet.

Have you tried the option that "bounces" mail back to the senders yet? I am darn curious about that one. Looks pretty cool.
