I just installed this on a Tibook 667 with the 16 meg mobile radeon. Quartz Extreme is supported. Web browsing is MUCH faster than before. Is still a little slower than my 1.33ghz athlon but it is a definite improvement. The overall performance is much snappier and smoother. Connecting to windows computers is a breeze. Just make sure you have permissions setup correctly. Im having some firewire problems, but searching around the web is showing that it may be a unique problem to my drive...dumb ibm... Do a custom install and leave out all of the language packs and the printer packs if anyone is going to get it. It will shave off an hour or so or the install time. It went from 1:30, first install (not a format). Second one that was customized was 20-30 minutes. Pretty close to a windows basic install in time taken.

Overall, everything is just quicker. If you have an ms mouse, you may want to uninstall the drivers before you install it or just do a clean install. They have been causing problems on many computers.

No, it can be upgraded, although it does have an interesting option called "Archive and Install", where it will archive your old system files(and user files) before installing a fresh OS. It's a good way to fix a broken Mac without losing your user files.
