<--- Greek Orthodox.

Very weird, almost no one has been around campus this weekend... seems like everyone is home with their family except me.

HOLLA. Our Easter is so far apart from Western Easter this year. That means cheap candy for us

Yeah, but last year it was exactly the same and that was kinda nice because breaks were scheduled accordingly.

Anyone notice how they started putting "Orthodox Lent Begins" and "Orthodox Good Friday" and "Orthodox Easter" on calendars?

OOOOOOOPPPAAA!!!! :D

Who brought the lamb? Oh wait, we've got like 4 weeks to go still.

My family is coming down to my college so we can be together for Easter (my finals are that week so I can't go up to them)... they want to roast a lamb outside my apartment. :D

That is the only way to do it. We roast a lamb, entire thing, every year at my uncles house. I still cringe when the older people in the family eat the eyes, etc. T_T

Orthodox Christians use the Julian calendar for Easter, while Catholics/Protestants use the Gregorian one. Usually our Easter falls one week after, but every few years its on the same day, and every few years its a month apart.

Nothing rocks harder than spending an entire day eating meat and drinking with the family. :D

Yeah, but the holiday adds to it. And besides, holidays are the only time one can really tolerate their family.

First time I had Ouza was Pascha several years ago. Stojakapimp may or may not remember my face when I drank it instead of downing it. He might not have been in the room at the time, as there's a lot of meat-eating and other stuff going on.

LOL, the first time I had Ouzo I was 10 years old. My dad was sipping it and he told me to taste it, so I did. Then I spent the next 3 minutes coughing while he laughed at me. :D

I didn't sip it, just kinda casually drank it. Forest laughed at me for a good 30 seconds. David might have been the other one there to witness it. By the way, this year, don't let Kimmy cheat you with her "invincible" egg.

Anyway, I think the whole point is that when you're underage, this is the one time the adults are too busy drinking themselves to care about you. Only problem is I may be driving this year. :(

You're 21, Easter is worthless except for the meat now for you.

Oh man, last year I got the "m4d h4x" egg. NO ONE could break it.

I never have good luck with those eggs. Doesn't bother me though, cause I love to eat them. I'm thinking about making a cement one this year and just painting it red
