Origins of your username/nick?

Every once in a while I see someone with a username and it seems they picked a random object next to their keyboard and made that their name.... kinda funny.
 
needed 8 chars, wanted something to tie into hacking / science / pharmacy.

I have used alkemyst since the late 80's
 
Due to above average eye-sight that impressed my Grandfather (long story), he gave me the nickname Aquila ('eagle' for those who failed any Latin-based language). '76 is when I was born.
 
I came to this forum with the intent of getting an answer to a technical question a few years ago and just pulled a stupid name out the air. I would like to change it.. haven't gottten around to asking the admins to do so as of yet...
 
Not like anyone will read this and really care, but my handle came from the engine configuration of the Challenger in my sig... a 440 Six-Pack (440 cubic inch engine with 3 two-barrel carburetors for those who don't know). That and the fact that I suck at thinking up usernames.
 
Casawi cause I am from Casablanca. Actually that is what you would call someone from Casablanca in our dialect .
 
Made it up when I was 13 and had just moved to the States, was creating a swtichouse.com account, liked to play games a lot, had just bought a gameboy color, gamefreak was unavailable, added gbc (gameboy color)at the end, then flipped the last 2 letters to skew it up, been using gamefreakgcb ever since.
 
Quake username, got it from what I did for a living. I worked in a forge where we heated steel up to 2250F and squished it into a shape.

Or, it could be what happens when I sit my fatass down on a jelly donut.

I am hoping this had nothing to do with him thinking you were a granddaughter until that point. 🙂
