i was wondering if you guys could help me out.
i was interested in getting a nintendo (the original) and recently found out theres a emulator in a control?
i guess you just plug the control into the TV and you can play any game u pick from a list. anyone know what this is called?

honestly i hadn't realized that it was illegal.. didn't even really think about it actually. just wanted to pick up something for a trip down memory lane.
 
no, they make a controler that has the hardware & a bunch of games built intot he controller. I forget the name.
 
I don't know about for Nintendo but I know for some classic arcade games they have this now. It's a joystick that you plug into your tv like you said and i think it has 10 games on it. Don't know about Nintendo though. Google it.....

I got it for my 6 year old sis for christmas.

Its called "Power Player" and has such pearls written on the box as "Super Joy!!"

anywho, it looks like an N-64 controler, except the joystick is a fake.

You plug it into your TV, adn you have the option to also plug in a gun or another snes-style gamepad into the N64 knockoff

Its got such games as Duck Hunt (w00t!) and Mario, Contra, a couple of top down airplane shooters, and about 70 others that I haven't looked at.

Unfortunatly, it takes either 4xAA or an AC->DC converter . .

But our batteries exploded in the first hour of use and convered the innards with acid, so it doens't work.

I am going to contact the company about getting a replacement before long.

But Duck Hunt ROCKS!!

btw. I don't think it has all the original games . . I doubt that it has Mario 3 or 2, but it might.

Anywho, its a good purchase if your into the old school games.

My friend has one of those, I think you could probably pick one up at a local swap meet or maybe a chinese supermarket.

at a kiosk at the mall. Its long gone, though, only open for the holidays. I'm hoping that the manufacturer will replace it.

If they don't I can probably fix it, but I'd rather not go to the trouble.
