Yeah - it had some well choreographed scenes but the writing and the story left me hanging. So is she the only one that can have kids? Is the project actually capable of restoring civilization - cause if its about hope I don't see much hope in a single kid.

we're taking this thread way off topic, but it kinda sucked anyway, so oh well ;)

i assume you're into sci-fi? it sounds like you're looking for everything to be handed to you - the physics, chemistry, technology, etc all explained. that matters for a sci-fi movie (one of the reasons i typically hate them), and doesn't matter at all for Children of Men. the exact mechanics of how this "single kid" might signal the rebirth of mankind are inconsequential to the central story, which is Clive Owen's journy from hopeless office worker to an impassioned man.
