Origin game disappeared.

I purchased a physical copy of Dragon Age Origins years ago, and some time later purchased the Awakening expansion on the EA-Origin client. Not long ago, Origin offered DA:O for free on the service, so I grabbed one even though I had a physical copy. Just now, I went to install DA:O and the expansion, but found out that Awakening had disappeared. As near as I can tell, when I got the free version of DA:O, it removed the expansion.

Long story short, I just spent a couple hours waiting, and listening to obviously useless solutions until they finally just gave me a new Awakening key. So while I've never liked all of these game clients, this is the first time I've had a serious issue with one, of course not surprised it was Origin. Anyway, heads up to keep tabs on your digital rentals.
 
We might have had same problem - Awakening used to have its own entry, and then it disappeared. Click Origins, hit I for info and see if it's there- I found mine there -

That was the first place I looked since I had other games formatted that way, but that icon just told me to buy it. After he gave me the new key, that icon changed to a download.

At one point he asked me my security question, which turned out to be nothing but a few horrible slurs. I had no idea what the answer was, lol.
 
EA games tend to regularly disappear, had digital NHL 09 and BF2142 vanish on me as well as some mobile apps that I paid for (Tetris original, Bejeweled and Madden 11).

Yes not long after EA switched from EA Download Manager to Origin I contacted EA and granted me BF2142 and NHL 09 on Origin. Mobile apps however, nope, luckily I still have the original Tetris in an .apk backup since I absolutely hate their "Blitz" versions.
