People who don't know better use that term. The Orient is a very small part of ASIA. The term is as oudated as 'colored folk' is.

The politically correct term is 'Asian'.

You buy oriental rugs.


And as for a hot deal.. go to the local ethnic areas... the local stores can't be beat for freshness.

oriental supermarket as in chinese, japanese

I want to order because i go to a boarding school and its a hassal to get it since they dont lemme drive here

Gongshee.com is pretty good, but they didn't ship a $0.75 box of candy with the rest of an order that my roommate and I placed until two weeks after we received the bulk of the order. They used a box that was 1'x1'x10" with lots of crumbled paper to send me the 2"x4"x0.5" box of candy.

I think they have a great selection though at somewhat reasonable prices.

whats up with this, the mods are SO inconsistent, theyll allow a totally off topic post to go on but lock others...perhaps they like oriental food?? =)

Id only buy food products in a store where i can see the cleanliness level...

Much of these food products are like canned goods where they're preserved in sealed packaging and can just sit there for a long long time.
