Bill's too afraid to call him by his real name. Instead he thinks calling him by the name of a popular character Al played on SNL is somehow insulting. I don't see the logic, but that's Bill.

thats one of the funniest things ive ever read.

and about franken:
yeah, he calls franken and immature smear-merchant and then goes on to call him "stewart smalley" (or however its spelled) every chance he gets. franken should start referring to oreilly by the names of his ridiculous media-thriller/romance novel. except that no one but myself and bill family has probably read it.
so no one would get the joke.
