They're a ranked team with great potential this year, have just one loss so far this year, the season has barely begun...college football hasn't even completely ended, it's not the pac-10 tournament or anything, yet after today's win, in a game that they pretty much lead the entire way and were not big underdogs..they rush the court as if they just won the NCAA tournament?

Not that I'm bitter or anything ;)

Man Oregon has been a huge surprise. As a Washington fan, I rooted for UCLA. I hate the Ducks!

I'm still dissapointed in my Huskies team though...too many young players? Hawes and Pondexter are studs, tho.

Let them have their fun. They just beat the no. 1 team in the country in UCLA, which is one of the most storied programs in the land.

BIG WIN for the Ducks.

And that's the only thing Duck fans ever celebrate since their programs can never seem to rise above "pretty good".

Better than the Huskies who usually end up being disappointing.

Home Court advantage in the PIT is huge. People talk about playing at Duke but McCartur Court is a nitemare of a stadium as the fans are on incredibly close to the court.

FSU rushed the court when they beat the Gators earlier this year too. I thought it was fine.

Still kind of ridiculous for that early in the season, but Florida ws the nat'l champion with all their returning players, not to mention they're crosstown rivals. Oregon/UCLA has no sort of rivalry whatsoever.

Perhaps I am missing something here.... As far as I know, beating UCLA is always sweet. This holds true for both UO and OSU. Usually the Oregon teams are so out classed by the big city big bucks UCLA teams that a victory by either Oregon team is cause for celebration by ALL Oregonians.

People rush the court/field at the drop of a hat these days. It's tainting the tradition.

On a side note, Pac-10 is killer this year.
