Ordering Thai food for lunch. Can someone help me with these salad choices?

Here is what is on the menu, and I want to order one of them for lunch.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Siam Salad(Yum Tai) - An assorted fresh seasonal vegetable mixed with broiled chicken, shrimp, in special spicy dressing.

Bean Thread Salad(Yum Woon Sen) - Boiled glass noodles mixed with chicken, shrump, onion and lemon juice.

Chicken Salad(Nam Sod) - Freshly steamed chicken flavored with lime juice, fresh ginger, onions, roasted peanuts, dried hot peppers; laid on top of lettuce.

Beef Salad(Yum Nua) - Sliced beef mixed with chili powder, lime juice vegetables and onion; served on a bed of lettuce.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, is the Siam Salad like a traditional salad with lettuce and stuff?

Also, what would you guys recommend?

-Thanks

I'd vote for the Nam Sod or the Yum Nua (sounds very similar to Nur Nam Tok....might be the same? I dunno). Those are both favorites of mine, the beef in particular. The balance of sour (lime) and spicy (chilis) is really tasty, IMO.

I like the Thai Red Curry called Panang. Its awesome. Not as light as a salad though since you eat it with rice.

the funny thing is that panang is a malaysian island, or maybe thats penang?

the nam sod looks good

Hmmm.. the Siam salad sounds yummy, you can't go wrong with both chicken and shrimp !

I went with the Siam Salad. It's good so far. It has Chicken, two shrimp, green and red onions, some tamatoes, all on top of lettuce. I'll save the beef salad for another day...

Oh man. It's one of my favorite foods. Ever. There's a really good Thai place my wife and I go to occasionally. I always look at the menu, but I end up getting the masaman 90% of the time because theirs is so damn good. It's this really interesting mix of dried chilis, a ton of different spices (including tamarind....yum), cashews and avocado. Not particularly spicy (unless you ask them to jack up the chili content), but very rich....the "sauce" is typically thicker than the average green/red curry.
