Ordering steak online

no, we have no idea where to order beef online. i thought we'd been over this before.
 
I tried Omaha and it was meh. You can do better at many specialty butcher sections of supermarkets.
 
i've always been told omaha was a total rip off. prices skyrocketed after the introductory offer, and you're forced into paying an arm an a leg for the side dishes.
 
Find a local butcher. IF you really want to buy in bulk they can do it or put you in touch with someone to buy one.
 
I'm happy with the Omaha steaks when they are heavily discounted and I don't have to buy anything other than the steaks. I noticed that after not re-ordering for a while, the emailed special offers get much better.
 
I've ordered them before, it's convenient but the steaks aren't the very best. I like the package deals for when I am going to go on vacation or something.
 
Look for local farms.

I buy all my beef from a local farm that does grass feed with small amounts of grain to finish. All the cattle are born and raised on the farm. Lower risk of anything nasty.

Much better quality beef because the farmer is the direct salesman. He ages it himself and if it sucks then his business suffers more than if he was just selling at wholesale.

It has been some of the best beef I have ever had.
