ordering parts this weekend

yup, you're definitely good to go. i think u should change your hard drive though. for ~$115-120, u can get a 250GB SATA II drive (either Western Digital or Maxtor) with 16mb of cache.

Was it DFI boards that didn't like Seasonic PSUs? I don't remember

The 7200.9 seagate drive is a dollar cheaper at newegg (Same 160 GB size).

At least it was Sunday, cause I ordered 2.

Are you sure that PSU's cables will reach your mobo?

maybe u should consider a different case if your cables won't reach...there are other good ones at similar prices or cheaper

i was wondering the same thing. maybe i should not take chances and go with another case.

I would have thought change the PSU rather than the case. A case is aesthetic whereas the PSU is purely functional in most builds.

Change your PSU. It has shorter cables than other power supplies. The Antec NEO HE 550W is superior and cheaper. It has very long cables and is quiet.

Yes the Powerstream 520W is amazing as well. But I would go with the Antec NEO HE 550W.

That thing is making me wet with excitement 😱

I would also recommend a Panaflo H1B 92mm fan for maximum cooling, although slightly louder. You can get the Seagate 7200.9 version of the 160GB hard drive. But I would recommend higher capacity drive, from WD, Maxtor, Hitachi or Seagate.
