Ordering Parts Soon

I know a few things about what parts to get but I know the DFI boards are picky with RAM. I was just wondering if this MOBO would work with this RAM?

Your second link has an extra https:// but I'm 99% sure you mean the Corsair Value Select 2x512MB kit.

I did a search for DFI and found this thread that pretty much says that DFI Lanparty + Corsair Value Select is a no-no.

I meant the 1gig stick not 2x512mb. I re-threaded it if re-threaded is a word.

Still, it sounds like the Corsair VS line is not a good match up with the DFI board, go with some OCZ.

Hmm.. that sucks isn't the OCZ pretty cheap too, the reason I want to get a single Stick is because in the future i will be upgrading to 2 gigs, 3gigs and so on and I don't want to have to spend 500 dollars on it.

🙁

DFI just loves OCZ, it is very picky, you can attempt to use Corsair...but might not be compatible.

Because i'm just a newbie building a comp for his first time I don't want any trouble thats why I'm posting here. I found this that hopefully will work. Do you think it will?

Yes that will work.

I'm just wondering if that will work. IT says in the reviews 1 said numbers don't mean a thing for this RAM they say it's still very fast.

I just looked at your rig, do NOT get the 3500+, get either a 3000+ Venice and OC it or a 3700+ San Diego and leave it at stock.
