how does everything look? i'm looking to keep this very quiet, budget/performance. the only two upgrades i've planned are dual core (when it's cheaper) and a video card.



ok. i just ordered everything except the case. first of all, should i spend the extra bucks for the p180? i know that i can just order the 3000 b from newegg and be DONE (i checked, and they have the cheapest price on that case). if i get the p180(which i'm still trying to debate), i'm not sure what extensions i need. 2 extensions right? (which ones.. :\) i know i know i should've checked this out first but i bought everything assuming i would get a 3000b, but i want to spoil myself with a nicer and quieter case.

Yea, but the 7800GT will offer SO MUCH better performance even at stock speeds.

As fot the version of the 3200+ to get, just get the newest veince core with sse3 and all the newer stuff.
 
I'd say the 7800GT definitely. Much better card, and for only $50 more it's definitely worth it.

That Seasonic 600W is definitley overkill, but if it's the same price as the 500W then that seems like a good idea.

Everything else looks good.
 
yea i doubt i would need more than 430, but for $30 might as well get the 500...and the 600 is the same price. i'm just curious about the antec truepowerII. if it comes with speed control, should i get it?
