Anyone else order the new Popcorn Hour 200? Orders started last night but the site was HAMMERED and I couldn't ever add it to my cart. Works fine today though...

As a owner of the A110, I can't wait for the 200.

I decided to build a dedicated HTPC for $260 out the door. Bought a Dell Vostro 220s barebones and added memory, processor, video card (had old 120GB hard drive lying around and cousin had an unused media center remote). Sure, there is no warranty, but I've never used a warranty on a desktop PC anyway. I was seriously considering the C-200, but was impatient.

The Vostro 220s sounds about the same as a ceiling fan running and has more flexibility. Sure, more maintenance, too, but I can do Vista Media Center, Hulu, Netflix, CBS.com, etc.

If it had been out in July as original planned, I would probably have ordered, too.

Good luck and I look forward to hearing reviews.

Yeah, I ordered one early this morning. It'll replace my eGreat m34a. I'm curious how well the Blu-Ray integration will work, but I'll mainly be pleased with the improvements in transfer speed w/ its gigabit network port.

meh

Bluray, Internet Radio, MKVs, DVDs, itunes in a small package.

I can't knock HTPC as it can do SO much more than the PCH 200...but I don't need anything more.

I assume your network is a gigabit?

Yup. Though the speed of the network port in the Popcorn Hour (as well as all other media tanks) has always been limited by the processor as well. The current models with 10/100 ports struggle to get a fraction of that speed. I read in their forums that they're aiming to be able to get somewhere around 20 MBytes/sec on the C-200 using gigabit, but its currently a bit slower than that. Still, that'd be a vast improvement on the current models.
