Ordered Parts For MY New Build

I just ordered some parts for my new build. I ordered a Lian-Li PC-V1000bPlus case, DFI Lanparty UT NF4 SLI-DR Expert mobo, and an Antec Truepower 2.0 550W EPS/SSI Psu.
i cant wait to order the cpu (X2 3800), memory (OCZ 2GB Platnium), vid card (EVGA 7800GT CO), and others NEC dvd burner and a WD 250gb probably next mouth sometime, maybe even next week. I got them all at Monarch and i hope they come soon, they're in the warehouse right now and says 2 day shipping at the bottom of the email but i ordered standared express ground 5 to 7 day? Anyone have good or bad expreince with Monarch shipping? I was originally going to get the MSI Platinum SLI, mainly becuase of the SB Live! sound but they ran out of them the day before i ordered so i think the DFI will be good enough . Well i hope they all get here in one piece and i dont have to RMA anything.

why do you need sli? and, if you got the dfi, you should be prepared to overclock the hell of of that X2.

i got the sli just becuase incase i ever want to use it or need to especially with vista coming out some time soon (yea right) who knows what ill need when games get better. mainly just to help future proof more. the system im using right now is from 98 so you can tell i like to save them lol

You do relize that 7800's don't support DX10 and thats what Vista is going to be all about...

Nice setup. I also plan to build a new system, probably next summer. I specifically want to wait for the AM2 (aka M2) socket to arrive and the VIA K8T900 chipset. I know the Nvidia chipsets are slightly better, but I am a very happy owner of an ASUS A8V-E Deluxe and I like pull'in for the underdog.

yea i know about that but by the time it comes out itll probably be time for a new one anyway, plus ive heard that dx10 or whatever m$ will call it by then is going to come out with the premium version or whatever which will come out later than the first verison of vista, and dx10 is only for the "extra" eye candy
