Ok so here what I got:

?Athlon 3800 X2 (Manchester I belive, the 2x512KB)
?MSI K8N Neo 4 Platinum SLI (24Bit SB Audio on board)
?OCZ Gold Edition 2GB DDR 500 Dual Channel Kit (OCZ5002048ELGE-K)
?Leadtek PX6800GT TDH 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16
?Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
?OCZ ModStream 520W Power Supply
?Thermaltake CL-P0006 Heatsink w/ Thermaltake 80mm Smart Case Fan II (20.55~ 75.70cfm)

What I want to do is clock my FSB to 240MHz with a HTT @ 4 and the ram running synchronously @ 240 MHz (Which is why I bought DDR 500). Now I know that doing this is going to cause my SATA ports to get messed up. I know that on my board I have 6 SATA I belive that they are 4x Nvidia and 2x Silicon Image, so will all my nvidia ports be unlocked? or will only 2 of them be unlocked? Also does anyone know if the 2 Silicon Image ones will work?
I also remember reading about some games running like crap because of "Quiet and cool", can anyone tell how it is we get around that again?

Thanks people, you are so helpful here :D

First Thing....

I do not recommend using the X2 process (right now). Many have had issues with pausing, hesitating in games. This is due to how a multiprocessor (multicore) has to balance the threads between each core. If the app is not made to use a multicore the affinity is not properly set thus causing the threads to be shifted between the two cores (im stating this is laymens terms). This shifting will cause performance issues. Now my understanding is that MS and AMD have released a patch that resolves this. I do not like to take chance with patches myself. That means there is a problem and its a bandaid. Net net... X2 bad for now if your looking to do gaming. If your not and do programming, video editing and/or graphic work then the X2 is for you.

ASUS A8N-SLI Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard <--- Best performing MB so far (Other then Lan Party)
eVGA 256-P2-N515-AX Geforce 7800GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Desktop PC <----- Much better value at this point. Also latest and greatest
Antec TruePower 2.0 TP2-550 EPS12V ATX12V 550W Power Supply <----- I prefer antec but your choice is a good choice
AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3700BNBOX <-------- Best at price point. I like the 1 Meg Cache.
Maxtor DiamondMax 10 6L250S0 250GB 7200 RPM Serial ATA150 Hard Drive - OEM <------ Proven to be a much faster drive. 16 Meg of cache
CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model VS1GBKIT400 - Retail <--- This may be a bad choice if you are going to overclock.

GL!

Your imformation is a little out of date there..these problems have been resolved, and it was a microsoft problem..the X2 driver fixed it for most people, and the microsoft hotfix seems to have fixed it for everyone else.

As for the OP: Not 100% sure for your specific motherboard, but I am pretty sure for the NF4 chipsets, the Nvidia all of the SATA ports are locked, I know they are on my DFI motherboard.

Since you are overclocking, it's generaly a good idea to not use cool and quiet. The problem is that the vcore genarly needs to be increased for overclocking. You will get your CPU where you want it, with the voltage you need for stability. C&Q lowers the CPU multiplier and lowers the voltage. But you are still overclocked with the lower multiplier, and the voltage may drop to a point where you are no longer stable at that speed, even though you are perfectly stable under load.

Ditto, and I am really sick of people regurgitating this.

NO PROBLEMS WITH THE X2 AFTER THE DRIVER AND/OR MS HOTFIX !!!

This is the third time today somebody has spewed this crap. These people need to read the threads on the subject.

Anand, can you post an article on this ?????? Mods, can you suggest this to anand ?

Thanks guys,
I almost threw up when I read that first post saying the X2 wouldn't work for gaming.
