I've used Tigerdirect. They have some deals at times, but they charge tax for me so that generally ruins it for me.

Their shipping can be rediculous as well.

Hard drive is weak, video card is weak.

I'd get a Raptor or if you dont want to drop that kind of coin ,the 300GB varieties of disks.

Get a 7900GT to compliment your nice CPU.

Gutcheck, could try a Western Digital Raptor (36gig) as a OS and Application loader, and ... any nice 300 gig sata as a storage?

You're really, really wasting money on that PSU. Your current system could be run from a 350W or 400W PSU for now.

When you upgrade the odds of a single top of the line GPU needing more than 600W is tiny, the odds of SLI needing it aren't great. (hink about it, crossfired 1900XTXs, the most power hungry graphics system around only needs a 600W PSU, factor in a smaller process (currently being rolled out with ATI) and the increase in transistors will probably only result in a fractional increase in power need rather than doubling it as the inq + co predict.

Get a good 600W (PCP&C are top notch, but imo not worth the price premium) and then if you really need to in future you can buy a 5.25" add in one. You won't need to, but that's your futureproofing.

That was the first thing to catch my eye as well. Even PC Power's 510 SLI PSU would be more practical. Can be had for less than 2 bills.

Still a very paranoid choice ;) But you know you're not going to run out of juice anytime soon...

Try this one out for size, i'm not an OCZ fan but they do make good PSUs and if you look at the 12V rails (the important bit) i think you'll see they have exactly the same (18A on four rails).

One thing i think i should add is that ZZfly tends to be cheaper for PSUs than newegg, sometimes by a large margin.
