Ordered Ice Wind Dale

Ok so I ordered Ice Wind Dale from gogamer.com but I recieved Ice Wind Dale 2 instead. I was wondering does it matter if I play the games out of order i.e. the 2nd game 1st? I was going to call and get the order cleared up but its just a hastle that I don't want to do since I was playing on buying both games anyways (and I only lost $3 with the game mix up).

On a side note, if I were to call and complain/explain what happened do you think they would send me ice wind dale for no extra charge and allow me to keep the game they already sent me?

doubt it would be worth it for then for you to mail back a $9 game. more than likely they will send out the first game and let you keep the secound.

The IWD games aren't story intensive, you'll be fine playing IWD2 without playing 1.

According the website today icewind dale is $14.90 and Icewind dale II is $9.90. I would ask for the $5 refund, its not much but why pay more for it. Plus they may give you icewind dale also, you never know.

IIRC I believe IceWind Dale 2 was not as good as the original. I never beat it though, got hung up during a slow part in the plot.

Thought you were talking about the books. The Icewind Dale Trilogy is a really great set. Highly recommend it.
