Ordered Halflife 2 IMPORT from gogamer last night - what server you on/what's your handle?!

I was refusing to pay over $40, paid $37 in the end. Can't wait!!

So who plays online and what's your handle? I'm thinking it comes with CS:S too and if so i'll be all over that. Probably as Goresplash. And what server(s) do you play on w/ average ping time.

50 ping to 24/7 Office Noob Palace. That's for CS:S. 38 player server, but 2 are reserved for admins I think. Office is the only map I can really stand in CS:S so I don't tend to venture too far from that server.

I played horrid today, but usually I do pretty good. There are times when the server isn't very good, lots of idiots playing and for some reason the ping limiter isn't working. Few admins that don't play often either, with no votekick enabled. Those are the real downfalls.

How's the cheating? Punkbuster enabled? I can deal with asshats, but cheats are unacceptable.

Nope, no Punkbuster. I'm afraid there is no cheat protection at all. Valve ignores the success of PB in favor of wasting time developing an in-house protection, one that doesn't work. It's also not enabled in Source yet.

Sure, there are cheaters in just about every multiplayer FPS. The ones you'll see most use speedhacks, although I haven't seen one in that server yet. One wallhacker once, that's all.
