Hmm,a little off topic, but do you guys think that the 750w psu gonna suffice the xfx gtx 260 SLI?Here is the link to the psu:http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817339002
Thanks for any comments guys.

OCZ 800w
Something like this?
More power, name brand, and even cheaper after rebate!

Even better... Corsair 750TX or PCP&C 750W Silencer

Reviews on the corsair 750tx aren't so pretty. Its still a quality supply, but it isn't living up to the standards the other corsair ps's set.

I have to agree with that even though I did get the GTX 260 🙂 I find it hard to believe that Nvidia just happened to pull out of their butts such performance gains. I think they just held back the performance of the card until the time was right.

Helps clear 65nm stock. 260 prices are incredible right now. The evga core 216's I ordered yesterday dropped ten bucks, and the overclocked versions dropped like 50 bucks...

If you shoot me your email address I can send you the bios from the GTX260 BE that I just got 🙂 This card is pretty sweet....

It'd be better if you actually do a benchmark test bewteen the 4870 1gb and xfx gtx black edition, this way people will get the actual result between the two,and stop arguing one is better than other without providing any proof.

Ok here are some quick benchmarks

Crysis 1680x1050 everthing set to high no AA or AF DX9 Windows Xp
4870: 46 avg
Gtx260: 52 avg

Farcry 2 1680x1050 everthing set to Very High Dx9 Windows Xp
4870: 4X AA No AF 47
Gtx260: 4x AA No AF 49

3dmark 06 Default
4870: 14K
Gtx260 15.5k

I was using the latest Nvidia drivers the 180.43 official ones and for the Ati card I was using the 8.11 drivers. All in all they pretty close. It really is a toss up. It would come down to who you really prefer and the all around package, drivers support reliablity etc.. you really can't go wrong with either card...

Not a bad build for $1400 give or take! I don't know why some people are whining about the cost. Actually I do, but... you gotta pay to play.

Congrats on the card. Just so you're aware, I got my BFG 192 core GT which has a stock speed settings of

590 Core
1296 Shader
999 Memory

up to

712 Core
1480 Shader
1180 Memory.

Used Evga tuner and have the fan to 80 when gaming, rarely breaks 65C. Just so you know, you card being better might be able to whomp mine!
