I jumped on this deal for my sister on monday. my bro in law said go with it, so I just ordered for $700.

then my other sis jumped on this deal for the dell dimension 3000.

then she has been telling my other sister how the 8400 is not worth it. :| not to mention she know nothing about computer.

damnit, I will never help someone to buy a computer. the good thign is the charge is not on my card, so one less thing to worry about.

if any nyc'er missed the deal and want it, PM me, I just want to get rid of it.

ouch, that sucks...smack both of them upside the head. And you should've learned a long time ago not to help anybody unless you know that you have complete control. Like my family has given me 😀

Do a live chat with a rep and ask about a return/refund. they may offer you a nice coupon/GC to keep it.

no 15% restocking fee?

ordered from monarchcomputer once, they hit me with a 15% restocking fee after I did a refuse delivery. I was so pissed, then filed chargeback against then. at the end, I think amex ate that for me, that was about $30.

Call Dell Customer Care and ask them?

I've never been charged a restocking fee as long as I REFUSED delivery and did a "return to sender".
