mine has been changed to BACKORDERED i placed it like 30 min after strike of midnight.
anyone else get anything different?
 
Mine also changed from "Processing" to "Back Ordered". I talked to a CSR who told me we would get them. Not that I trust her.

 
Didn't see this thread...sorry. Mine just changed to BACKORDERED about 20 minutes ago. Does anyone know how good CompUSA is at filling backorders? I really want this drive and don't want to be let down in a week when they decide to not honor or something. This is already a big enough disappointment.
 
I placed my order at 12:17am and mine's backordered too. We had better get these - I couldn't stand to be shut out twice in one day (thanks Dartek).
 
Doesn't their site say something like the orders are fulfilled by the local stores or something when you order? So if that is how its done, then they never had any extra stock for online orders, they're just depending on the local stores which were promptly sold out. Hope it doesn't take too long to get them back in stock.
 
Ordered at 12:21am and just switched from "Processing" to "Backordered". I am regreting not driving the 80 miles to the nearest B&M instead...
