ORB 370

[Portend]

RB370 is reported to break the chips Thunderbirds due to the tight mounting clip on socket A's. Is this true? How about the Agilent Arctic Cooler?

Yes its been reported. I've seen photographs of mashed Durons and Thunderbirds, although I haven't actually seen one in real life. I do however own a Socket370 GORB and I can attest that its a pain to install.

Careful there. The S370 Golden Orb is infamously incompatible with Athlon TBirds and Durons. What you want is the socket 462 (S462) "Silver Orb" version. Both are on sale in Canada at http://www.bigfootcomputers.com.
