I'm wondering as an American what is most difficult to come to terms with: Living with Trump as president or that so many of your fellow citizens thought that was the best candidate?
Well, as a reminder, he didn't even manage to clear 50% of the vote, and there was absolutely tons of fuckery involved (see: Elon Musk's illegal pay-to-register scheme, or complicit media). For me it's the oligarchy and the lack of willingness to oppose them. The US are just the latest victims, and they don't intend to stop here.
So I guess sort of technically the first one, but I don't think that really provides enough context for the scope of why.

Yea in truth Musk should have been arrested by the state and tried as what he did i believe was illegal on multiple levels.

Of course Musk learned what a dick and idiot trump is so it isn't likely he will try that again.

An anti-trans group is petitioning the FDA (FDA-2025-P-7321-0001) to potentially restrict HRT for trans people and potentially establish a registry of trans people (this is in addition to other states attempting to build lists of trans people by various methods, and I'm sure Palantir etc are also working on the same thing). They're asking them to establish a REMS (Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy), one facet of this is ETASU (Elements to assure safe use). Which leads us to this:
ETASU can require any or all of the following, depending on the drug’s risk: HCPs who prescribe the medication must be certified or undergo specialized training; pharmacies or other drug dispensers must also be certified; dispensing/administration of medication in limited distribution networks; only dispense/administer drugs with evidence of safe-use conditions; and patients taking the drug will be monitored and enrolled in patient enrollment registries.
Another brick in the foundation of trans genocide in the US.

If you consider that half the country is below the average intelligent quotient, it explains the numbers that correlate to the number of Trump voters. These folks voted for lower gas prices so they could continue to drive their monster trucks and buy eggs and beer, and against Harris because they didn't like the way she laughed. Once you throw in the fact that Trump was going to deport illegals and make sure your daughter doesn't lose to a trans person in a junior high school swimming match it all makes sense.
Was taught tech writing the Navy way, keep it at the 12 year old level.

And ICE has been given permission to detain "people who look transgender", on the grounds that they may have falsified their visa. In theory it applies to immigrants, but we all know how well ICE follows their guidelines. Glad I've been working on my cardio.

The thin-skinned, sausage fingered, fat bastard just likes to break shit. Especially since he's claimed climate change is a hoax.

Or, could be a combination of things, including this.
From the link:

"Some Colorado officials view the move as part of a retribution campaign being waged by the White House that is designed to pressure Colorado Governor Jared Polis, a Democrat, into granting clemency to Tina Peters, a former county election clerk who was convicted in a 2020 election-related data breach scheme. Peters is a prominent 2020 election denier. "
An update: https://www.nytimes.com/2026/03/13/...e_code=1.S1A.4h8k.HZ7tVlBDa7HG&smid=url-share

The Trump administration is reviewing proposals to break up one of the world’s leading climate and weather laboratories, transfer its work to universities and private companies, take away its aircraft, and sell its property in Boulder, Colo.

This news comes a mere 48 hours after Polis ducked out of a direct pardon of Tina Peters after the political firestorm he ignited (but it seems Trump/Vought have been working on this for months.)

Also…I found this tidbit interesting from the NYT article:
[US representative Joe Neguse] asked the N.S.F. inspector general to review allegations from a whistle-blower that Trump administration officials began negotiating the transfer of the center’s space weather program to a private company in January, before the [proposal review] had been completed.

According to Mr. Neguse’s letter to the inspector general, the whistle-blower confirmed the report with an employee of an unnamed for-profit company during a January meeting of the American Meteorological Society in Houston.

“I remain deeply concerned about any attempts to improperly transfer public assets to private companies,” Mr. Neguse wrote.
Wanna bet they’re referring to SpaceX? Wouldn’t be the first time Elon Musk sought freebies from American taxpayers.

Trump is a very forgiving man esp when it comes to Putin killing american soldiers:

[from cnn]
"
resident Donald Trump said Friday he believes Russia is helping Iran “a little bit,” but pointed to US support for Ukraine as justification.

Pressed if he believes Russian President Vladimir Putin is supporting Iran following US strikes on the country, Trump told Fox News Radio in an interview, “I think he might be helping him a little bit, yeah, I guess. And he probably thinks we’re helping Ukraine, right?”

“Yeah, we’re helping [Ukraine] also,” Trump continued. “And so, [Putin] says that, and China would say the same thing. You know, it’s like, hey, they do it and we do it. In all fairness, they do it and we do it.”

Last week, CNN reported that Russia is providing Iran with intelligence about the locations and movements of American troops, ships and aircraft, according to multiple people familiar with US intelligence reporting on the issue.

Factor in the Iran war and its longer term effects and things could be on another level.

The national debt isn’t $39 trillion. One economist says it’s actually $100 trillion...

If the U.S. government were required to report its finances under the same accounting rules as a publicly traded corporation, Smetters pointed out, the debt-to-GDP ratio wouldn’t be the current level of 100%, which is bad enough. “We’d be reporting a debt-to-GDP ratio closer to 300%.” The gap between those two numbers, he warned, is not a rounding error — it is the deliberate product of federal accounting standards designed to keep the full picture hidden from the public...

While trump has certainly hurt the deficit at a record pace he certainly isn't the only one to blame for the mess (though between trump 1 and trump 2 he played a major role).

Mean while in proper diplomatic fashion as he looks for a way out of the Iranian war he reverts to calling them derange scumbags as he bombs public gatherings and school girls:
