I saw the interview of her opponent and to be honest I found him quite appealing as a candidate from a 'common' sense perspective. Having said that i've never hard crockett speak so i can't make a comment about her though i suspect the gop is simply playing race/sex game against her and not considering whether one is actually a better or worse candidate.
 
Crockett might motivate the sexist and racist Maga base to show up to vote against her. I like her, but she is not the right choice to win. Luckily we have another actual progressive who can win. Let's make sure he beats any establishment shit head in the primary

Fyi - I saw this else where - that the reason Trump wanted to send hospital ships to greenland was actually because some maga person in greenland named Jørgen Boassen suggested it to Jeff Landry who passed the suggestion on to Trump.

This Boassen guy is said to be crazy in teh head.

Kelly Ayotte, Republican of New Hampshire, said on social media that the Department of Homeland Security had scrapped plans for an ICE detention facility in Merrimack, near the state’s southern border, after she met with the homeland security secretary, Kristi Noem, in Washington last week. Noem did not answer questions about why the plans were scrapped but said in a statement that she “appreciated” her meeting with Ayotte and that “we look forward to continuing our work together.”

The proposed facility had been met with strong local opposition; hundreds of residents gathered in protest last weekend. Similar episodes of backlash have been playing out in communities across the country as the Department of Homeland Security looks to buy up warehouses to expand its detention capacity.

This is the part where I mention the women's US olympic hockey team has medaled in every single olympic game they've played, since their inaugural game in 1998. They've won almost as many medals as the men's team, who have been playing since 1920.
 
I know a lot of people harp on the endless D messaging about prices but everything that gives us a peek at what is salient for the larger electorate generally validates the strategy. Attacking the admin's immigration policies which are increasingly unpopular, seen as cruel, and voters now perceive as costly to them personally is a very fertile line of attack.

This story is actually pretty fucking crazy and getting very little coverage.
