Yep. The competitor to the CRJ series was the Embraer E series. The 737 is simply a bigger plane that serves a different market segment.

The Max 8 is close-ish but at a non-trivially higher unit cost and fuel burn. Airbus has sold almost a thousand A220s heh.
 
BTW… a decertified aircraft can be sold in the United States.

I worked for a company that has done this several times. In my case, I got a one time ferry permit from the FAA to my maintenance base specifically addressing why the aircraft was decertified. At completion of all the maintenance and inspections required to conform to the type certificate an FAA inspector must sign off and issue a new type certificate or supplemental tc as required by the manufacturer.

A220-100s have been parked to cannablize engine parts for the 200s while P&W gets its shit together. Airbus just, like yesterday, announced the A220-500 and it sounds like CFM is going to be asked for an engine option.

How is this even allow? How can a sitting president file a lawsuit against his own government? I would asume this would be a conflict of interest.

I agree he'll order his stooges to settle with him. Also I think at some point it would be abuse of power. Since he the head executive of the IRS and DOJ. He can basically order them to settle with him. I'll be surprise if it goes to trial. If it does it'll be sham trial. We know congress, at least the republicans won't step in and tell him to quit the stupid bullshit.

I was reading Twitter/X this morning. Maga cult was praising Trump for suing the IRS. It like wtf is wrong with these dumbasses. Anyone with half a brain knows maga cult would be screaming their heads off if any other president was trying to sue the irs for $10 billons. They would be screaming abuse of power, calling for impeachement, etc

The failed state, is really only failing because of decades of crippling US sanctions inflicting hardship on them.

Yet another example of how the US has repeatedly wrecked other countries, and has never really been, "The good guys".

At best the USA was often the lesser of evils between Russia/China/USA.
