If you look at the percentage of 1/6 insurrectionists who have been subsequently arrested not just for crimes of any sort but specifically sex crimes it's insanely high.

A crowd made up almost exclusively of sex criminals and car dealers, which are basically the same thing. It would have been a real service for the cops to have opened fire on the mob.

The world is being terrorized by a madman and the only one to speak the truth to his face works at a Ford assembly plant.

Trump is taxing Americans because he can’t have Greenland. Yeah, he’s insane.

As the rest of the world forms alliances against the US and prepares to defend themselves against them, and American cities get prepared for Trump flooding them with troops, Republicans babble on about the great job Trump is doing. No means no except to sex offenders.

This doesn’t bother me that much

The common people are not going to be buying champagne or French wine. That is more of an upper class thing. So. Maybe it will piss of the people with money more
*eyeroll* french wine isn't any more expensive than any other wine. You don't need to be upper class to buy a $7 bottle (well, now $21, so maybe you do need to be upper class, now).

Cheap bottle of champagne here (in the UK) is £14 at Tesco, decent french sparkling is about £10. Obviously you can spend a lot more than that if you want but it's definitely not an upper class thing.

I am confused why Trump thinks that taxing Americans more is going to make the French change their minds though.

Somebody make it make sense!

So this is going to be a rumour and speculation post (abet grounded in reality, it's not pulled entirely from my arse).

Europe and the UK are pulling back severely on intelligence sharing with the US. I assume that Australia and Canada are following.

This means that 5 eyes is dead.

5 eyes was (in part) a way for the US to spy on its own citizens without breaking a ton of laws. Now that that intelligence sharing is over do we think that the US is giving up on intelligence gathering on its citizens?
I mean the current US regime doesn't seem the type to give up on that juicy data, I assume that they are getting it from elsewhere.
Time to do some digging US people!

US-Euro relations are a shambles. His derision now even aimed at the UK, the US closest ally. Only a clown can screw things up this bad.

You've heard of Palantir, you've heard Herr Musk was plugging in whatever servers he wanted to US government networks, what do you think?

Only the dumbest, most out of touch people in the cabinet.

Doesn't understand how the majority of people live. Doesn't even understand people who might make low millions or high 6 figures per year (how many of them own 5, 10, 15 homes?).
it kinda tracks since the avg age of a home buyer in the US was something like 59 years old i saw recently

Hm.

"Market Watch reports that the richest people in the United States own an average of nine homes. However, they tend to keep these expensive homes off American oil, with Mexico being the most popular. The American rich like to own homes in other places, including the Bahamas, England, the Caribbean, and France. Mexico, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean are likely so popular because they are close to the United States and have beautiful weather, while England or France are chosen because of their history and sophistication"
