Cheap bottle of champagne here (in the UK) is £14 at Tesco, decent french sparkling is about £10. Obviously you can spend a lot more than that if you want but it's definitely not an upper class thing.

So this is going to be a rumour and speculation post (abet grounded in reality, it's not pulled entirely from my arse).
Europe and the UK are pulling back severely on intelligence sharing with the US. I assume that Australia and Canada are following.
This means that 5 eyes is dead.
5 eyes was (in part) a way for the US to spy on its own citizens without breaking a ton of laws. Now that that intelligence sharing is over do we think that the US is giving up on intelligence gathering on its citizens?
I mean the current US regime doesn't seem the type to give up on that juicy data, I assume that they are getting it from elsewhere.
