What’s really funny about this whole tempest in a tea pot, is you were directly asked for your opinion to avoid making assumptions about what you thought on that subject. You have no one to blame but yourself for leaving space for us to be forced to make assumptions about your beliefs.

Fenixgoon's post was more eloquent than mine, but we are saying the same thing - that the DOJ and/or Trump had no direct involvement, implied or otherwise. News outlets have always tended toward sensationalism and pointing out coincidences that generate views - whether or not there is a causal relationship - is par for the course.

Although I do find it interesting how you are so quick to point out some implications while acting completely oblivious to others. If only there were a common denominator to determine which data you would use in your implications. <--- Yes, there is an implication here.

So since everybody under the sun has to sue Trump as the only recourse for his stupid actions, how much are we the people spending on lawyers, both ours and their’s (really ours, at least as far as paying them). Seems like a bottomless pit.

My suspicion is they will roll out the tried and true 'religious people don't have to follow laws they don't like' rule.

So in short the state can ban doctors from giving reproductive advice because a doctor is just trying to look after the safety and wellbeing of their patient. The state CANNOT ban quacks from engaging in conversion therapy because even though it harms their 'patient' a magical man in the sky told them to do it so no law can bind them.

More precisely SCOTUS is saying that verbal therapy (which is used for gay conversion) is not a medical procedure and we could debate that but fundamentally that is the argument. Since it is not a medical procedure it becomes an infringement of 1st amendment.

Attempting to change someone's sexual orientation is not a medical procedure is certainly a take, haha.

Also it should be noted again that this is yet another one of those cases with a fake litigant that should be thrown out on standing but won't be because SCOTUS has no consistent principles.

Republicans, including Trump, Musk and Miller, have been "doxxing and threatening judges who rule against Trump, including this SC judge.

First ...An accidental fire due to a faulty gas line, heater or stove etc. needs to be explored.

Second ... speculation the fire was deliberate arson because she made a decision against Trump recently needs to be explored.

Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and Marco Rubio should go down in history with other mass murders for their illegal dismantling of USAID directly leading to the suffering and dying of people around the world. Unfortunately, they probably won't, because they didn't send people directly into the wood chippers - they just did it beaurocratically and only targeted the food and medicine these people were relying on.

Unlike those other disasters (both natural and man-made) that “no one saw coming”—this one was entirely predictable and the Administration was warned exactly what would happen back in February. But they just didn’t care, and the GOP-led Congress was feckless.
