SLED found no evidence of fire being arson or intentional.

“At this time, there is no evidence to indicate the fire was intentionally set,” SLED Chief Mark Keel said. “SLED agents have preliminarily found there is no evidence to support a pre-fire explosion.”

Keel said the house fire is still active and ongoing but urged people to “exercise good judgment and not share information that has not been verified.”

You are correct in that we should not rush to judgements. But SLED has not found evidence *yet*. Seeing as the fire is still active and all.

The situation is certainly very suspicious.

They have drawn the ire of many here in the "Low Country" with shady real estate deals and the like. If there was something other than an accidental fire I would suspect that more than anything else.

The location of this house is on a barrier island and has very little access and limited firefighting water supply. It was reported that there was an explosion then a fire. SLED found no evidence of an explosion.

It's a bit funny rushing to say there's nothing to see here when the bloody fire is still active, isn't it? One would suppose that might hamper investigation efforts.

Too much of a chickenshit to address this point, surprising (presumably) no one.

It's pathetic that pcgeek wants us to respect his service when he can't respect the service of others.

How did I disrespect any of these Trans People?
I didn't make any comment at all about them.

I do think that if they were getting Trans Care in the military prior to separation then the VA should assist and give them the referral as appropriate to get care at their chosen civilian facility.

Maybe you should reread the appropriate posts (hint: go back further) and you should be able to answer your question.

Who said that? There is plenty to see, we shouldn't jump to a conclusion. Let the facts speak for themselves.

I only posted what is currently in the news locally.

The "bloody Fire" is out. The investigation is what is still active.

I think it is funny to suggest or imply that this has anything to do with Arson or the DOJ or Trumps Administration.

How the Trump administration works:

Find an innocent person; arrest them; then revoke the visa because he was mistakenly arrested:

Oh the DOJ and Administration have no direct involvement. I don't think anyone here is suggesting that.

Trump is the stochastic terrorist in chief.

Remember when he blamed China for Covid? Shortly thereafter you had attacks on Asian people around the country.

So no, it is not out of the realm of possibility that when trump criticizes someone, that something bad happens to them shortly thereafter.

It very well could be a coincidence and something like a gas pipeline ruptured. But when you break trust in the entire system - as trump and conservatives have done - you foster and fester conspiratorial thinking.

Whoa Whoa Whoa!
Who said anything about the DOJ or Trump's Regime?
pcgeek the strawman, that's who!

See Perk's post above. Maybe I misinterpreted it, but it seems to make an implication... that this fire was tied in some way to Trumps DOJ.

""Last month, Goodstein blocked the South Carolina Election Commission from providing the Department of Justice with millions of voter files that included personal names, addresses, driver’s license numbers and social security numbers, according to court documents.""

You were being called out for your silence and that’s clear in the thread. Like I said read the thread and think.

Called out for my silence. Jesus you people are getting more ridiculous every day.

Please point me to the rule that says I have to comment on every little opinion made about real or implied injustices made to every little group.

I'll comment where I want to comment. Sorry it offends your delicate sensibilities.

I asked for your opinion originally because I was genuinely interested in what you had to say about it. But as you ignored multiple comments about it specifically mentioning you then you left us to draw our own conclusions about your thoughts on the subject. Clearly, you didn't like those conclusions because you did finally respond which means on some level you do care what people here think about you.
